The right puppy name can make all the difference. The difference is, one can begin a bond with that new special puppy dog. First, a good puppy dog name will put you in the drivers seat sort-of-speak. You will began your new role as "pack leader." Second, it's fun. And, if your having fun, you'll endure the "not so fun stuff" puppy will temporarily bring while in puppyhood.
In our case, as newborns, we don't know their personalities yet. But, we are their first "pack leaders", and for I.D. purposes, we have to call each puppy dog a name. This is the part of my job that i really like.
Some names are from Countries, colors, flowers, people we know, size's of puppies-teacup to small dogs , color of puppy dog itself, breed of puppy dog, sports, careers, your favorite movie, Art&Literature, Music, perfume, Food, Cars, our customers who ...and don't forget all those ethnic names that are French, Japanese, Indian, Persian, Russian, (in our case, mexican, american indian, and Serbian)....

Hope this helps you decide on a special name for your new puppy. Or at the very least give you some idea's. It's normally recommended to keep a puppy name down to 1-2 syllables for easier training.
