Read about one of our customers comments after watching the Oprah Show on Puppy Mills.
Written: April 2008
My sister and I both purchased a puppy from you in December. Amanda bought her male Yorkie (Henry) just before Christmas and I bought my female Shorkie-Lucy listed as Lavender, the day after Christmas. There are two reasons I am emailing you: first to say thank you. I just watched Oprah today and she had a show abut puppy mills in this country and the HUGE difference between buying your pup at a store vs. buying from a breeder such as yourself. Lil Lucy was just sleeping away next to me on the couch while I watched the horrors so many dogs go through on her show. I was glad to know Lucy didn't come from such an awful place and I wanted to say thank you for talking care and pride in what you do and in the dogs you have and breed. Lucy is well cared for and loved very much by me, my boyfriend and my ENTIRE family. She travels with me often so she is rarely left alone at home and gets lots of attention from my family! She also loves my cats!!! And at least once per week we visit and have a "playdate" with Henry, Amanda's Yorkie. They run and run for hours!! And entertain us plenty too! She is growing slow (just over 3 lbs.), but Henry grew quickly (just under 5 lbs.). Both are gorgeous and healthy. So, I wanted to send some pictures out to you! Thank you again, Aimee Janssen

What People Are Saying...
It's been awhile so thought I would send you an updated picture.
Riley (Endurance) - right - and Ryker (Ocean Breeze) - left - are as happy as little pups can be. They are very close. They play, eat, run and sleep together. Both are affectionate, loving little sweethearts.
We are enjoying them so much.
Thank you for making this possible. Definitely
a perfect match for our family,
Don and Donna
Here are the pictures of Frank with the mini pony and we just got a picture of him with the goat!
On January 4, 1918, we bought a Morkie boy puppy from Oh Puppy Love. We were most pleased with the breeder's care of the dogs as well as the facilities. The puppy we got is in perfect health and has been a happy addition to our lives.
The owner, Jenni, took time with us to make sure we had all the information we needed to take care of the dog including food, proper medical care, records, parentage lines, and approach to socialization with our dogs.
We took our puppy (now called Hank) to the vet for a general check up and to get them the records on the dog. Our vet was very impressed with the care (record keeping, worming, etc.) that the puppy had received.
We are totally happy and grateful to Oh Puppy and Jenni for a wonderful dog and adoption experience !!!
My family and I have been adopting from Oh Puppy Love for 14 years and have recommended Jenni and Al to everyone we know. All the dogs we have personally adopted and the ones our friends have adopted are truly the best- which is a testament to the Popovich family. My husband and I lost our dog (who I adopted from OPL 14 yrs ago) and we knew we wanted another Shorkie from them. I contacted Jenni and told her exactly the type of pup we were looking for and she was able to recommend the perfect dog for us. We LOVE our newest addition to our family and are so thankful to the Popovich's for their care, kindness, and for breeding truly outstanding dogs.
I would be happy to recommend you & your puppies to all.
Mikey is a real character! He has a blanket on our bed and after I brush his teeth & clean his eyes he bites the end, holds it in his mouth and hops in a circle to get it perfect & comfy before settling down. Then amazingly if it is real cold he will turn his head over his shoulder, grab the blanket in his mouthy the turn back around to cover himself up. He is truly special, we love him so much! I will send you pictures and video. He loves the snow. tries to get under it and rolls around getting totally snow covered! Too cute!
Thanks so much!!
Cozumel is doing great! She and Coconut have been having a ball running all over the house. They really tire each other out. She does cry at night, but not constantly. I'm sure she will adjust fine over the next coming days. Today we are going to sit on a bench at Pick N Save so she and Coconut can socialize with other people. (Yes, I am having fun)
A quick update... All is good... I called Fair Game... Gracy (Amazing Grace) ... She is amazing... Absolutely no problems... She adapted immediately... Never ever any complain... Very independent and extremely sweet.
I'm sooo happy with her. Thank you very much.
I just want to thank you for the puppy. We renamed him Milo. He is doing amazing. Started potty training him right away. He did really good on the way home. He's loving his car rides. He loves all the other dogs and does very good with them. He is a very good puppy. We are so blessed with him. I couldn't image him any other way. Again, Thank you for him. He is in very good care and he's loving his new family.
Just a short note to fill you in on Rosabell's progress. We changed her name to Bella which is Italian for beautiful and she really is beautiful. We love her to pieces. She is learning commands but it is a slow process because we often have to stop and get kisses before we can continue with school. She is very affectionate! She loves her life, her toys and her meals. Every morning after Bob leaves for work, we have scrambled eggs together. And she's crazy for Nylabones. She has already lost some baby teeth which were quickly replaced with her permanent teeth. We think she has doubled in size since we got her. She has seen our vet twice for immunizations and will soon be scheduling her for spaying. We are so grateful to you for your skill and integrity in breeding this little angel. Sending you wishes for a great summer.

Of course! We are so in love with this little guy! He is sooooo sweet! Learning quickly. Still working on potty training but getting so much better. We take him for walks a few times a day. He is really smart and inquisitive! And he has found his perfect spot for a nap in our family room so he can snooze and keep an eye out for birds and squirrels in the front yard. Thank you so much for Milo. Perfect addition to our family.
I tried calling but I am assuming a family is over to see Pivotal. We absolutely love the little guy...he's a bit tired from the plane ride so he got inside the house and picked a spot to lie down and sleep. We all met him and then tried leaving him alone a little bit to sleep and get adjusted...that's how it's been going so far. We just got him about an hour and half ago...we got him from Delta cargo at 3. They took a while to transport him to the cargo area so he is still very new to us :) looking forward to see how everything else goes. For now everything is great and thank you so much!
You guys are awesome! And your puppies are awesome, and so adorable and loving!
Yes, she is the right size. She really took to our house wonderfully and now she's one of the family. Doing very good. Thanks.
I am writing to give you an update on my adorable little boy. Tucker (formerly known as heartbreak kid). Tucker is the most affectionate little dog. True to his name, he loves tucking himself under chairs, between my legs and the chair, completely under the pillows on the bed and as of yesterday, he has begun to enjoy disappearing completely under the couch in the living room for nap time. While we've had a few accidents in the house, Tucker is a very smart dog. He is already crate-trained, knows "sit" and is working on "stay" and "come" as well as leash training. His favorite activities are chewing all of his toys, playing fetch and romping around with his big brother, Ollie. I couldn't ask for a sweeter, more affectionate dog. We love each other very much, and he is quite clear who his "mommy" is...I feel like I have a second shadow and I love it! Here are some pictures of my little guy! I hope you and your family are well! Take care and thank you for everything!
Just wanted to wish you and your family a very happy and healthy new year. Bella is now a year old and just ended her first heat cycle. She didn't care much for her diapers and occasionally chewed them off. But we adore her so much, we can't imagine our lives without her. Take care and stay warm.
Just wanted to tell you how wonderful things are going with the pups. Luv 2 laugh, now known as Driver, still needs to be the first to get attention but things are evening out in that respect. It's so nice to have him want to be with us every second. We have gotten them outside to do yard work and they are exploring every inch of the yard. Happening, now known as Nelson, is such a dear. Both come instantly when called and always arrive with a "lick" :) Nelson has mastered potty training and never goes on the paper anymore. Driver is the opposite...he doesn't go outside but uses the paper regularly. Both boys are walking well on their leashes and enjoy being outdoors. Both are speedy little guys, who would have thought! At night they get groomed after dinner, love to see their eyes roll back into their heads in pleasure. Then they sleep on my lap for an hour before bed. Did I forget to mention Driver slept one hour the first night!! Glad it was only one night. We are so pleased to have them. Both are smart, eager to please and loved to death. Wanted you to know.
Here are some pics of Ryker (Jovani) we'd like to share with you. He is such a smart little guy. We are very happy to have him in our life. He now knows to go potty outside. He has a certain area and learned pretty fast. We are in love and he gets better every day with trusting in
Matt and Brooke My husband and I would
like to thank you so much for breeding such an amazing dog!
There are certain times we honestly think that he is a human trapped inside a dogs body.
He smiles, sighs, cuddles and misbehaves just like a 5yr.old would....Thanks again. Matt and Brooke.

Hi there...I bought Charlie Brown from you, last year and I just wanted you to know that he is absolutely wonderful. I have had many people tell me how cute he is and had breeders ask if they could use him, which of course, he is fixed. I think you really had something speical with him. I hope to do business with you again. You breed precious puppies and I will always send people your way. We are now thinking about getting another puppy...Thanks alot, Sue

Jenny-Kiss's is doing just fine. Her vet visit was great, she is doing very well and adjusting to our family. This weekend I am going to take her to meet my mom's yorkie and I'll get some new pictures. Everywhere I take her people just love her and think she is the cutest thing ever! I ordered some bows for her hair and can't wait to play w/ her top knot! I'd love to have another one to keep her company-so I'll keep you posted on that! Debbie
Dear Jenny, I just love our little boy. It's like having a real baby, but better-he's never going to be having those teenager problems....He is so playful and he snuggles so. ...he is already showing signs of potty training and he minds w/ just a stern calm voice and a clap of the hand from wherever I am. He doesn't bark hardly @ all..in fact, it is just a "ruff" sound. He sleeps for 4-5 hrs a night already and whimpers to get up and get a drink or snack and do his business, Plays about 5-10min.and off to sleep he goes for another 3-4 hrs. this is the best dream come true for me.....Joey is a real blessing in so many ways, even mending the grieving heart of my mother-in-law to the point of her wanting to have one herself!!! Thank you so much for being the best kind of breeder w/ a heart and smarts to deliver angels like "Joey" to make dreams like mine come ture.....So Sincerely, Cari & Stevey

We now have our second puppy purchased from ohpuppylove. We are so pleased with both Shihtzu and new Shorkie puppy. Well bred, healthy, and happy puppies. We are delighted w/ them and recommend you to anyone looking for a quality puppy.
Thanks so much, Jim & Karen
Jenny, I just wanted to update you on my puppy. I named her "Dolce". I absolutely love her! She is a very happy puppy and has an adorable personality. She is fully litter box trained. I have sent you a pic of her that I think you will love.
Hi Jenny, Please feel free to use me as a reference. I had never adopted a puppy over the internet before, and to be honest with you, I was a little skeptical. However, you made the experience very pleasurable. You did exactly what you said you would...you were truly as good as your word.
We did rename Filly to Jordan. She's doing great!! .....She is running and bouncing about and is having fun playing w/ her new toys. She's eating, playing and keeping us thoroughly entertained :) ....She whimpered alittle bit ...but last night she splept the night w/o a peep. She is thoroughly enjoying laying on my sons lap while he studies, too. Overall- she is doing fantastic!!!
God's blessings to you and your family. Robin
Good Morning, thought that I'd send you a pic of a puppy that we bought from you last April. She was born 2/1/06. When we picked her up her name was "Josephine, (dad is Avory) of course we changed it to Daisy. Just wanted to let you know that she is just wonderful, and doing great. however, as far as the potty training she still has an accident once in awhile which is to be expected due to her size. She weighs 4 lbs. according to our vets scale. We have her kennel trained which is the best at this time. She will hold it for 9-10 hrs. , which we can't believe. I've recommended your puppies to many people.
Have a great day....Sharon
Hi ....we are very happy w/ Pepper and we were hoping Pandie was from the same parents. I wanted another black/white puppy either male or female. But our daughter wants a brown/white one. We were going to wait until the end of next May.......Pepper is already going to the door to be let out and we have only had him about 5wks. We took him to the local fair yesterday and we had so many compliments on him....both his looks and his temperament. If we can resist Pandie, we will wait until May for another panda or teddy bear. By the way, Pepper has more toys that my girls do and he sleeps in the bed w/ us!
Thanks Again, Sue
Jenny, I just thought I'd send you an update on Melvin (remember him....) First, he is an absolute doll and such a joy. He is now about 7months old, a little under 6 lbs. and healthy as can be. He graduated from his first puppy class with flying colors! He sits, stays, lays down, rolls over, and shakes (amazing). He still loves to play day and night. Did I mention he's spoiled rotten! In his little world, he thinks he's a king! I attached a couple pics of him....we couldn't ask for a better companion!
Thanks! Emily Stvenson and Ryan
Hi Jennifer, I've been meaning to write to you to give you an update on how our new puppy
Cosmo is doing. Since his arrival over a month ago now, he has been nothing but a delight. He has bonded w/ our sixteen yr.old "Elizabeth" and pines for her in her absence. While he tolerates to play and spend time w/ other members of the family, he rejorices when Elizabeth arrives home. Not even my own babies were happier to see me!
Potty training has been a challenge, He actually is very good when spending time in Elizabeth's room which is where he stays in our absence. He is confined to our rather large kitchen while we are home. Someone is always working in this room either on the computer or with meals.....He loves to spend time running through the grass of the yard....Liz will email you pics as he is growing up so fast.
Hi Jenny, I thought I would send some 6 months pics of little "Mazey". As you can see she has grown into a 4.4 lbs. of love. I don't know what I would do w/o her. Now that spring is finally here she loves to play fetch for hrs.....I'm stopped every place I go and asked where I got my puppy. People say they have never seen such a cute pup. I'm a proud mom :) I have given Ohpuppylove cards to many people. I actually met a girl at my vets office who also got her puppy from you. Hope I have passed along many soon to be puppy owners.
Take care. Megan Horen/ Chicago
