For Morkie, Teddy Bear Puppies Shichon Malshi Food Dishes,

Basic Puppy Set Up. (shown below)
Puppy is already use to the Basic Puppy Set Up. Bedding- toys, food and water all on one side. Open newspapers in tray on other side. All enclosed. Those are the only two choices puppy gets for now. So, keeping this set up will help pup identify "home".
If you want your puppy to adjust to a Pet Taxi asap. just put one on the blanket area, w/ a treat inside, door open. Some like to sleep on top.
* We like to use heavy blankets. Puppy cannot move them as much.
And, they can be used many times by just folding the blanket to the unused side. This can go on forever :) Refold to the clean side. The cotton poly blend is good.
Mostly, it is important to allow your baby puppy "time" to get acclimated to the new home. This is alot for a puppy. Pup is going to miss the puppies here, and all else. Pup will need to relearn noies's, smells, water taste, different foods, people, objects....It's easier on pup to do this w/ less distractions. Try to keep the same daily routine, avoid trips, over play, disruptions.
The Basic Puppy Set Up is suppose to be inside your home, in a spot where puppy can see you. This will be his/her world for 2 or more months. Some set up another fenced area outside too.
Note: pup can have supervised visits when out of the pen. Time to snuggle, play, feed....but then, pup has to go back to the "set up pen", where a "great reward treat is waiting".
Do not get up in the night when pup cries, unless you want to get up every night.
